It’s time to meet the winner of SLIDE shapes the contest by the Italian design company, SLIDE.
The contest was all focused on creating a new collection of furnishing accessories to be realised through the rotational moulding process mastered by the company, all characterised by a distinctive ironic vein. Altogether, 278 entries were submitted for the contest, involving 174 creatives and an international audience coming from more than 82 countries.

“The Totem hanger really hit the target idea we had before even thinking about the brief. The product is not too original, but is entirely in compliance with the brief, is functional and can have a real positive response from the market. In particular, the project is not yet included in our catalogue, can be realised with a single mould through the rotational mould technologies and is really easy to produce. In addition, it’s multifunctional: it’s a hanger, a bookshelf and a decorative item.”
Totem is a hanger, a valet and a container of objects suitable for living, the sleeping area and public spaces.
